I would just like to start off by saying that I am on Facebook myself, I really like it and it has some purpose. BUT!!! I really think that people are getting really addicted to the actual act of putting things on there, I call it living their lives on Facebook.
I get on at Alex about it all the time, I know I shouldn't but it's hard not to. Alex just tell me he will do what he wants and to stop telling him what to do, which I should but it really narcs me.
It seems to me that people say the most random, pointless and mundane things on there every day, for example "night all" or "up at 6am can't sleep anymore" or "fish and chips for tea" I mean really, do we need to say or see this all the time.
I know we can sort and have the option to change our privacy, what we receive.
My point is that do we really feel the need to tell everyone we know every single thing we are up too?
What does that say about us as humans and how needy we are becoming I guess.
As I said there is some good to it, it's great to keep in touch with my family who live far away and some friends I have not see for quite a while or my friend that has just moved all the way over to America, it's also great to see pictures of what people are doing or up to date pics of people or family you haven't see for a while.
I have a mix of friends who are and who are not on Facebook and they all have very apposing views on the subject and I guess you can tell which are which from that there statement.
I would like your views on the subject, is it just me that thinks people should restrain themselves a bit more?
Do you think that the way people are is fine as it is?
Please all of you who read try to comment, I would like to know your thoughts.
P.S. I am going to post this on my Facebook so you can comment on their too.
Love to you all
Tony
